Anyhow, I feel like this is a good macro for any player whos in charge of marking targets. /run SetRaidTarget("target", 8) = Skull Looking for a macro (or help making one) that once you press the macro and hold it down (or a binded key) it will mark targets starting with skull. So basically hold down the key and swipe your mouse across the mobs you are going to pull and every mob you mouse over gets a seperate mark. I had this macro or addon back in old world and BC and i loved it on my hunter or tank to make calls and ... Edit: Forgot the semi-colon at the end of the macro. /script SetRaidTarget("target", 8); The 8 can be exchanged for other icons. 0 = no icon 1 = Yellow 4-point Star 2 = Orange Circle 3 = Purple Diamond 4 = Green Triangle 5 = White Crescent Moon 6 = Blue Square 7 = Red "X" Cross 8 = White Skull

I've found a bunch of add-ons for easily setting raid icons over mobs, but I haven't found one for what I'm looking for: If I'm in a dungeon, and the tank has marked one of the mobs with a skull, I want something that I can click to change my target to the skull (or X, or moon, etc) - just to help me target the correct mob when they're all stacked on top of each other. So I know set focus is not around in classic, so I was wondering if anyone has any macros they use to target skull or to assist the tank. I know you can set up a macro /target tank name /assist. So so useful for pugs when you can direct people to change targets on the fly. Does target of target still exist in retail? 'Cause that's all sorts of useful. Target a mob to find who to heal. Target a player to find what mob to kill, etc. etc. You can bind the marks to keys, like all the other stuff.
